Meet our team
A result driven leader, Yarnell Rickett was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Central State University, in addition to a Master’s Degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.
Mr. Rickett is a Master Peace Officer and has been an active law enforcement officer in the state of South Carolina and currently in Texas for a total of 16 years. He has served in various aspects of law enforcement to include Patrolman, School Resource Officer, Street Crimes Task Force Officer, SWAT Team Entry Operator, Executive Dignitary Protection Unit and currently as a full time Police firearms instructor. Mr. Rickett is a decorated United States Army Veteran with 20 years of total service, continuing to proudly serve in the Army reserves. He has obtained numerous civilian and military certifications, awards, citations and thousands of documented instruction hours.
Mr. Rickett is a certified Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), National Rifle Association (NRA), and United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) firearms Instructor. Additionally, he’s a member of ASIS international, National African American Gun Association, Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, Texas Association of Licensed Investigators, Texas Conceal Handgun Association and the National Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors Association.
Anthony (Tony) Trotman
Mr Anthony L Trotman was born in New York and raised in Houston, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Logistics/Supply Chain Management from Bellevue University and a Master of Science in Leadership/Management from Western Governors University.
Mr Trotman is a Veteran of the United States Air Force (USAF), he retired at the rank of Master Sergeant after serving an honorable and decorated 21-year career. Upon his retirement, Mr Trotman rejoined the USAF as a member of the Department of the Air Force Civilian (DAFC), to continue his now 29 years of continued service. As with Mr Rickett, he has obtained civilian and numerous military awards, citations along with hundreds of documented instructor hours. Mr Trotman is a and United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) firearms Instructor. Life Member of the National Rifle Association of America, an Associate member of the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas, a member of the Texas Handgun Association and Texas Law Shield.
